Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
